As well known as Romeo and Juliet, some regions arround the globe have sewn coffee with some particular food/ baverage as its spouse. As culturally granted as tea and biscuit for English, coffee has been attached to some specific custom. Many media such as movie, advertisement and even ancient folkstale have planted that coffee and donuts are additional police paired ammo. In other words in case we see American sit back and enjoy coffee and donuts, they must be a cop (or at least they act like American cop). In some Indonesian teritories such pattern also lives and well preserved in the society. Acehnese pair coffee with chess, Bataknese go for guitar, Torajan and Balinese enjoy it by watching sunset while Eastern Javanese have it with ketan (sticky rice with grated coconut). I won't describe cigarette as I can find various anti-cigarette campaign, eventhough I'm in that opinion that cigarette is the universal pair for coffee. Javanese and Jogjanese have got their own ancient traditional icon of immortal spouse which called mimi lan mintuno (mimi and mintuno, water species in the Chelicerata family which mythly believed as poisonous species unless both consumed at once). This kind of belief stays the same for coffee and some particular snacks, especially fried bananas. Daily example is shown in local night watch which won't run without that pair privision. This local tradition calls out an idea of solitude which shown here.
